  • Do you have diabetes, epilepsy, thyroid or any neurological condition?
  • Have you had surgery or a hospital admission in the last twelve months?

Medication and allergies

  • Are you taking any prescribed or over-the-counter medication, including blood thinners?
  • Do you have any allergies or sensitivities to oils, lotions, latex, nuts or fragrances?
  • Do you have any skin conditions, open wounds, recent scarring or infections?

Musculoskeletal

  • Do you have any injuries, joint problems, back or neck pain?
  • Do you have osteoporosis, arthritis or any implants, pins or plates?

Pregnancy and women's health

  • Are you pregnant, trying to conceive, or have you given birth in the last twelve weeks?
  • Are you currently breastfeeding?
  • Is there anything about your cycle or hormonal health your therapist should know?
